2009 Beneteau America 343
Designed by Berret/Racoupeau, the Beneteau 343 is targeted to appeal to the discerning owner who wishes to find a finely finished yacht at an attractive investment level. Featuring more volume, a bigger interior, and better performance than its predecessor the Beneteau 331. The 343 provides standard features that few sailboats of her size offer, including a separate stall shower.
The Marla Sue is a well kept late model 343 that is a delight to sail. She has many upgrades such as electric toilet, radar, salt water wash down, air conditioning, powered windlass, autopilot, solar, 440ah house battery bank, large inverter, LED lighting, full dodger, cabin and stateroom fans, and more. She comes with a new bimini and new performance laminate 117% genoa that allows her to point well into the wind. Her mainsail has been replaced and her standard 140% Dacron genoa works well. She also has a huge asymmetrical spinnaker with deployment sock.
Her engine is in excellent condition at 1500 hours with new motor mounts and recently cleaned and inspected heat exchanger. Spares include water pump, hoses, and belts.
With a 4'11" draft she is a terrific coastal cruiser perfect for the Keys and/or Bahamas. Possible adds are Highfiled UL260 dinghy and Tohatsu 3.5hp outboard.
